Product Overview 

The Bently Nevada 3500/61-05-00 is a six-channel temperature monitoring module designed for the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System . It accepts both Resistance Temperature Detector and Thermocouple temperature inputs, conditions these signals, and compares them against user-programmable alarm setpoints . The 3500/61 provides recorder outputs for each of its six channels. These recorder outputs are +4 to +20 mA signals proportional to the monitor's full-scale reading, enabling connection to external recording devices or control systems . The -05-00 configuration indicates a standard version with specific I/O and isolation options. The module features front panel LED indicators (OK, TX/RX, Bypass) for quick visual status checks . When used in Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) configurations, temperature monitors must be installed adjacent to each other in groups of three, with the system employing two types of voting to ensure accurate operation and avoid single-point failures .

➙User-Programmable Alarm Setpoints–Both Alert and Danger setpoints are adjustable from 0 to 100% of full-scale per measured value. The module supports both under and over alarm setpoints .

➙High Accuracy–Accuracy of alarms is within ±0.13% of the desired value .

➙Channel-to-Channel Isolation (Isolated Version)–The TC isolated version provides 250 Vdc of channel-to-channel isolation to protect against external interference .

➙Cold Junction Compensation (CJC)–Built-in CJC sensor for thermocouple measurements with accuracy of ±1°C at 25°C .
