By applying simulation-based digital twins, engineering teams can gain new insights, accelerate innovation and reduce costs from the design stage to the production stage.
Automation's latest Studio 5000 Simulation Interface can now be connected to Ansys Twin Builder to support automation, enabling process engineers to give full play to the role of simulation-based digital twins. Users can create and test designs in virtual spaces, saving time and money for expensive physical prototypes. Digital twins can also be used to test process changes before they are implemented in the field to improve throughput and other performance indicators.
