·The 330881 PROXPAC XL combines the probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor into a single, sealed package . This integrated design eliminates separate extension cables and Proximitor housings, reducing installation complexity and potential points of failure.

·The housing is rated Type 4X and IP66, providing excellent protection against water, dust, and corrosion . The housing is made of Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), an advanced thermoplastic reinforced with glass and conductive fibers to dissipate electrostatic charges .

·The transducer operates reliably from -51°C to +177°C (-60°F to +350°F) , making it suitable for extreme industrial environments including high-temperature turbine casing applications .

·The transducer utilizes the eddy current principle to measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values of rotating machinery by measuring the gap between the probe tip and a conductive surface .

·The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor features improved immunity to radio frequency and electromagnetic interference, satisfying European CE mark approvals without requiring special shielded conduit or metallic housings .
