The Bently Nevada 146054-010-20-02-05 is an industrial-grade, non-contacting eddy current proximity probe specifically engineered to perform shaft dynamic vibration and static position monitoring in highly aggressive chemical or pressurized plant environments. To combat harsh process agents, the probe features an advanced front-end layout where a high-purity alumina ceramic cap is hermetically bonded to a rugged AISI 304 stainless steel threaded body via a premium helium leak-tested metal-to-ceramic seal. This impenetrable barrier stops corrosive gases and corrosive liquid molecules from weeping into the probe case assembly. |
