It consists of the ABB NGDR-07C (or NGDR-07) protection trigger driver board and a pre-mounted Infineon FF650R17IE4 high-power dual IGBT module.The ABB NGDR-07C board serves as the critical gate driver and safety supervisor. It interfaces with the main drive control system to send high-speed gate triggering signals while constantly running automatic diagnostics and circuit protection routines. It is built in a dual half-bridge topology utilizing advanced 1700V IGBT4 chips and high-efficiency Emitter Controlled diodes to limit electrical losses. It also includes an integrated Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistor that provides accurate temperature data back to the driver board, preventing system destruction from overheating during long continuous operations. |
