The Woodward 8237-1246 is a bulkhead-mount ProTech-GII overspeed protection device with triple-modular-redundant architecture and two-out-of-three voted trip logic. Each independent module accepts a passive magnetic pickup or active proximity-probe speed signal. The device provides voted relay outputs, isolated speed readback, event recording and selectable serial communication for turbine, engine and rotating-equipment protection.
