The Vibro-Meter S3960 AC46286 144-201-000-222 is a high-sensitivity, heavy-duty piezoelectric accelerometer engineered by Meggitt (Vibro-Meter) for the long-term monitoring of absolute vibration in severe industrial environments. Built with a symmetrical shear-mode polycrystalline measuring element and internal case isolation, this sensor translates mechanical acceleration into a differential charge output that is processed by an external charge amplifier or signal conditioner. To ensure maximum physical protection under extreme conditions, the unit is hermetically welded into a stainless steel casing and comes equipped with a permanently attached integral cable shielded inside a flexible, leak-tight stainless steel protection tube.
