The RELIANCE ELECTRIC 57C443A is an AutoMax Allen-Bradley Remote I/O Scanner Module with Adapter Mode in the Reliance Electric AutoMax Series. It links an AutoMax DCS or AutoMax Multibus rack to Allen-Bradley Remote I/O devices and supports 57.6, 115.2 and 230.4 kbps communication. The module can scan discrete and analog I/O, operate as a scanner or adapter, address as many as 32 remote I/O racks and process up to 48 block-transfer requests of as many as 64 words each. Adapter-mode functionality was introduced with the 57C443A release.
