A: TMR uses three independent processors with 2oo3 voting. If one channel fails, the other two override it, allowing continuous operation without shutting down the process.
Q: Can I replace modules while the system is running?
A: Yes, both Trusted and AADvance support hot-swapping. Use the system management software to isolate the module first, then physically replace it, and finally re-enable it.
Q: How do I connect a PC to an ICS Triplex module for troubleshooting?
A: Use a null modem cable (not a standard serial cable) to connect your computer's serial port to the module's RS-232 port. Verify that your communication software is configured to the correct COM port and baud rate settings specified in the manual .
