The Bently Nevada 330880-16-00-039-03-02 is a PROXPAC XL Proximity Transducer Assembly manufactured by Bently Nevada . This device is a complete, self-contained proximity probe system designed for precision measurement of shaft vibration and position in industrial rotating machinery .

Unlike traditional proximity probe systems that require a separate probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor, the PROXPAC XL series integrates the 3300 XL 8 mm probe and its corresponding Proximitor® sensor into a single, rugged housing . This innovative design eliminates the need for an extension cable between the probe and the sensor, significantly simplifying installation, reducing wiring complexity, and improving overall system reliability in harsh industrial environments . The housing is constructed from Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) — an advanced molded thermoplastic reinforced with glass and conductive fibers. This material provides excellent corrosion resistance, UV protection, and effectively dissipates electrostatic charges. The housing is rated Type 4X and IP66, offering robust protection against dust, moisture, corrosive agents, and hose-directed water .
