It is a signal conditioning device that operates as part of a complete proximity transducer system, working in conjunction with a separate 50 mm probe and an extension cable. What distinguishes this Proximitor sensor is its compatibility with a 50 mm diameter probe. This large coil design provides an exceptional maximum linear range of 27.9 mm (1100 mils) , the longest linear range available from their eddy current transducer portfolio. This extended range capability makes this sensor particularly valuable for measuring large displacement parameters in heavy rotating machinery. |
