By screwing into the machine housing from the outside rather than from inside the bearing casing, it streamlines installation and adjustment accessibility for monitoring radial vibration and shaft positioning on fluid-film bearing systems. The probe body features a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) tip secured with patented TipLoc molding to reliably withstand physical compression, while an integrated Viton O-ring establishes a resilient oil and pressure seal between the probe case and the machine body.
