The Bently Nevada 330172-00-20-90-01-05 is a high-precision, non-contact eddy current proximity probe assembly deployed to monitor radial vibration, shaft positioning, and axial thrust displacements on fluid-film bearing machinery. Built with a 5mm tip molded via patented high-strength techniques, it operates down in tight machine gaps where standard 8mm probes face clearance constraints. The entire 9-meter 75-ohm triaxial cable core is enclosed in a flexible AISI 302/304 stainless steel protective armor jacket with an outer FEP coating to eliminate mechanical pinching, wear, and chemical erosion from synthetic lubricants, steam, or process fluids.
