This aluminum housing assembly is rated explosion-proof for hazardous areas with CSA Type 4 certification . The assembly is fully compliant with the American Petroleum Institute's (API) 670 Standard for externally mounted proximity probe housings . This specific configuration includes a 3300 XL 8 mm probe with a 0.5 meter cable, features a 5.0 inch probe penetration without a standoff adapter, and utilizes a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread with comprehensive fitting options .
