The Bently Nevada 190501-04-00-04 is a Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer (also referred to as a Velomitor CT Piezo-velocity Sensor). It is a specialized low-frequency vibration sensor designed specifically to measure casing vibration velocity on slow-speed rotating machinery, particularly cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies .

The transducer provides a voltage output proportional to vibration velocity, facilitating easy interfacing with Bently Nevada monitoring systems like the 3300 XL series . It is housed in a rugged, corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel case, making it suitable for demanding outdoor industrial environments . Unlike standard velocity sensors, the "CT" (Cooling Tower) version is optimized for machines operating at or above 90 rpm (with a typical range of 100 to 300 rpm) . It accurately captures the low-frequency vibrations generated by the fan motor and speed reducer, which are critical for detecting common machine malfunctions such as unbalance and misalignment .
