The CPCI-6930D 6U CompactPCI processor blade features a rugged design, delivering up to 16 cores of processing power and high-performance graphics capabilities. Supporting temperatures from -45°C to +85°C and 16GB of DDR4 surface-mount memory, it is ideal for demanding applications such as military vehicles, naval equipment, or aerospace equipment. The CPCI-6930D utilizes Intel's latest server-grade Intel® Xeon® D-1500 processor, supporting up to 48GB of DDR4-2133 ECC memory (16GB RAM plus 32GB SODIMM), providing exceptional performance for compute-intensive applications such as aerospace data acquisition and remote vehicle control systems. With a total power consumption of 35 to 45 watts, the Intel® Xeon® D-1500 processor is designed for low-power, high-density requirements, offering 1.5x performance compared to its predecessor, the CPCI-6930D (supporting an 8-core Intel® Xeon® E5-2448L processor). Server-level computing power also includes hardware virtualization and Intel® AES-NI for secure data transfer. The CPCI-6930D's graphics processing core is the AMD Radeon E8860 GPU, the first embedded GPU designed based on the innovative GCN architecture, which enhances processing performance and efficiency. A 625MHz graphics processing engine, 2GB of GDDR5 frame cache, and a third-generation PCIe interface all contribute to doubling the Radeon E8860's 3D graphics processing performance compared to its predecessor, the E6760. The E8860 GPU can provide four independent 4K displays and supports DirectX 11.1, OpenCL 1.2, and OpenGL 4.2.
